Night Stories – Spooky Party Sounds From the Crypt Vol. 1
The first full-length LP from Iowa creepers, Night Stories, takes you on a journey from the outskirts of Glendale to a decrepit basement where you are the main course of Satan’s yearly Halloween Bash.
Working with the band and illustrator, Levi Biel, we crafted a design inspired by the spooky music of mid-century Halloween and classic horror comics prior to the implementation of the Comics Code Authority.

The label design follows closely to the back cover. It carries over the nostalgic horror and American record label designs from the 1950s. A multitude of designs were created to try and encapsulate the design language we were trying to achieve.

Logo Design
Along with the sleeve design, I designed a logo that's used on the record label and spine. The logo has become the most commonly used logo for the band, being used on merch and during live performances.
