Streaming has become an important piece of new media to younger generations. If you can think it, there’s a stream for it. From cooking to model making and everything in-between. But the largest audience, by far, is for video games.
Soho Night Sky, a relatively new, but growing, streamer, reached out to me and asked to develop a brand for his channel. He saw an opportunity and wanted to capitalize on it. Without any idea of what he wanted, Soho allowed me to create as I saw fit. After working through several ideas, Soho was on board and together, we created a clean, 80s inspired brand that can be utilized across digital channels.

Lettering
After landing on a moon motif, several iterations were created to best set up the logo.
The label design follows closely to the back cover. It carries over the nostalgic horror and American record label designs from the 1950s. A multitude of designs were created to try and encapsulate the design language we were trying to achieve.

Further Refinement
Besides the logo, a series of overlays were created to further drive the brand and start building a community around this streamer.
